Our imported perfumes, however, are sold in their own LIKED branded packaging.

There are many reasons why a product might differ. These can range from a change in recipe, printing error, damaged stock or region specific stock that can no longer be sold in a particular region.

All this unwanted stock that cannot be sold in a retail store end up in a reject warehouse and sold at discounted rates directly to consumers in other countries.

  2. Some fragrances have been in circulation longer, so their smell MIGHT NOT last as long as the store brought items you are used to . Most reviews received from our monthly customers from the last few years estimated a time frame of between 4-6 hours longevity
  3. DO NOT COMPARE PERFUMES PURCHASED WITH THOSE IN RETAIL STORES. The reason being:

( These are NOT your local SA store perfumes – they are imported from another country, without the consent of the intellectual property right owner – these are then sold at a lower price and without the usual guarantee and/or after sales service, and that some manufacturing plants use different alcohol bases – as mentioned below- having said this – it is not the same as the items you would purchase from local retail suppliers.

  1. These perfumes are imports, so small defects might occur
  2. In certain cases, small damage to the box might occur
  3. In certain cases, a loose cap might occur
  4. In certain cases, wrong branding ( for instance it would say EDT but is a EDP )
  5. In certain cases, small scratches might occur
  6. In certain cases perhaps older design’s of bottling or packaging might occur
  7. THESE ARE NOT WATER BASED FRAGRANCES, – Items come in their own known packaging but variances and damages may exist in both the packaging and the recipe used to manufacture the items.

(It can happen in the case of imports from other countries that the concentration of the perfume may differ to that of the local version that you find in your regular retailer. This is because they are made in different manufacturing plants. They use different alcohol and oil bases around the world i.e. Europe uses a potato based alcohol (Vodka), France uses grape based alcohol, and the USA uses a grain based alcohol. Fragrances are also reformulated every so often, creating different vintages and batches, hence the same fragrance can differ in smell from one country to another, depending on where it was made or imported from. Therefore, in some instances, our fragrance may not last as long as the local version that you are used to.) We are not claiming that this would be the result of your purchase: But it could in certain cases be the result )

For those who just don’t want to pay over a thousand rand on perfumes or just can’t afford retail prices. But still want to feel like a million dollars, or perhaps would like to bless someone else with a gift of smell.

We can not guarantee the result of the perfume – as these are not store brought perfumes.

Due to the nature of these perfumes, Items Purchased, will not be returned or asked for refund, once disclaimer has been read – as the consumer is notified that:

  1. Consumer was made aware of the specific defects; and
  2. Agreement is made that items are received in that condition, as mentioned above

A guarantee on items purchased can’t be ranted that all fragrances purchased are reject free hence reduced price and TAKEN ON OWN RISK.

You the consumer agree to the extent permitted by law to indemnify us against any loss or damage suffered or liability incurred by reason of any act or omission on your part of any third party acting on your behalf in connection with your use of our fragrances/products or services.

IMPORTANT:

These are imported fragrances for people who do not want to pay the High Retail Price, due to their own skin dissolving the alcohol up very quickly, and they have to spritz the original local retail bought one in any case more than once a day, OR would like to purchase these as great gifts for all year round! They Look & Smell the same & come sealed in their own IMPORTED branded box but you might perhaps in some cases have to spritz them again at lunch time. Or they might have a small defect to the bottle, or packaging. If that’s a hassle then please rather buy from your Retailer at the FULL price. These are ideal for everyday use, and much affordable.

WE ARE BASED IN PORT ELIZABETH, AND WORK IN A OFFICE ENVIRONMENT, where to also our perfumes are stored in a store house, SO ALL PERFUMES ARE COURIERED DIRECTLY TO OUR CUSTOMER’S. DIRECTLY FROM OUR WAREHOUSE, WHICH DOES NOT HAVE A WALK IN FACILITY.

How does our delivery work?

WE DO NOT HAVE WALK IN STORES, AS ALL ORDERS ARE DONE IN ADVANCED

We offer a door to door delivery service to all Major centres via courier services, within the borders of South Africa.

The cost to deliver is R110 to all Major Cities in SA (Make sure you list your 9am to 5pm address).More or less 3-7 working days

Delivery to (Outlying Areas) May take more than 3-7 working days

Should we have a situation arise where the item you purchase is out of stock and is unavailable within the usual delivery period we will contact you and notify you of the situation. You will then be given the option of either waiting for the item or requesting an alternative fragrance.

  1. Please provide FULL PHYSICAL ADDRESS and NOT your P.O. Box address.
  2. Please ensure someone is present during office hours to collect the items at the address provided. Should nobody be available to receive your parcel at the provided address, the delivery will be delayed.
  3. To avoid unnecessary delays, kindly ensure that the address provided is correct. The address should be as complete as possible, containing amongst others and where applicable – full name and contact details, department, floor, building, number and street name, housing complex name, unit number, suburb and city.
  4. For regional areas, delivery can take up to 10 working days after being dispatched.
  5. Please note: there are no weekend deliveries.

  • All orders get processed every morning from 9am – if you order at 9pm, it will only be processed the following morning at 9am
  • Delivery takes between 3 – 7 working days – from processing your order, as processing may take up to 3 days, to be picked, packed, wrapped and sealed to be sent out for delivery, and also due to courier services also having backed up deliveries or behind schedule
  • When dispatched for delivery, a waybill tracking number will be sent for you to track your parcel
  • A tracking “proof” will be sent, please check your tracking – as we do not always have the time in between to check everyone’s parcel’s daily

RETURNS POLICY
Due to our product being a imported perfumes and low pricing, we regret, NO REFUNDS/EXCHANGES or WARRANTIES are accepted or offered on any items once ordered.

REGRET NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES 

Once payment is made,(after reading the Disclaimer’s Notice) we will place your order and courier it to the address given to us by yourself.

  1. The products shown on DISCOUNT FRAGRANCES SA website are offered for sale within the limit of available stock and under the conditions of sale specified on the Website.
  2. We reserve the right to modify at any time and without notice the products displayed on the website. The sale conditions related to the products—in particular pricing conditions—are those in force at the time an order is placed by the customer.
  3. Products sold on this website are imports, as well as DUBAI IMPORTED PERFUMES. No claims are made to be otherwise, it is possible that fragrance variations could occur per perfume batch, and thus, per individual order.
  4. Discount Fragrances SA shall not be held liable in any way should it run out of inventory or if the products become unavailable.

2. Online Privacy Policy

  1. In order to full fill your orders, you may be asked to enter personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, e-mail address, delivery address, phone number, and username/password.
  2. If you simply visit Discount Fragrances SA, we will not collect PII from you.

3. Prices and Payment Terms

  1. All prices, discounts, and promotions posted on our site are subject to change without notice. The price charged for a product or service will be the price in effect at the time the order is placed. Price increases will only apply to orders placed after such changes.
  2. Sales and special offers may run for limited times only. Online sales and special offers will not be honoured beyond the stated time limit or once stock runs out for limited offers.
  3. Posted prices do not include or charges for shipping and handling unless stated or displayed. All such and charges will be added to your order total and will be itemized in your shopping cart. Shipping and handling may vary according to location and courier service used.
  4. Terms of payment are within the sole discretion of Discount Fragrances SA. Payment must be received by us before acceptance or fulfilment of an order. We accept all major credit cards for all purchases and internet banking payment transfers.

 4. Delivery

  1. Discount Fragrances SA delivers to addresses within South Africa only. We do not deliver internationally at this time.
  2. Discount Fragrances SA does not deliver to post office boxes (P.O. Boxes).
  3. Discount Fragrances SA dispatches perfumes within one to five (1-7) days of receiving payment of orders. If it will take longer than five days, you will be notified in your order confirmation. Discount Fragrances reserves the right to change courier services at any time. Delivery time may vary depending on location, time of year, and other factors beyond our control.
  4. Discount Fragrances SA is not responsible for lost or stolen packages confirmed to be delivered to the address entered for an order. We provide tracking information and courier information for the customer at the e-mail address provided in the order form.

5. Broken Items

  1. Discount Fragrances SA wraps all products in bubble wrap and attempts to keep them as safe as possible. However, we do not have control over our carriers or potential accidents in transit. If you receive a broken product that is the fault of the carrier, you must notify us by e-mail or via our contact form within three (3) days of receiving shipment. Any broken product requests must include a photo of the broken product. We will send you one (1) replacement bottle of the same fragrance or, if out of stock of that fragrance, a similar fragrance. We will not replace breakages that occur once the package reaches you, whether you have opened the package or not.
  2. Discount Fragrances SA will not send more than one replacement bottle per customer.
  3. Discount Fragrances SA will not send a replacement bottle if your notification arrives more than three (3) days after tracking shows your delivery was received.
  4. Discount Fragrances SA will not provide refunds under any circumstances.
  5. Discount Fragrances SA do not provide refunds at any circumstances, due to acknowledging the Disclaimers due to the nature of the product being reject fragrances.

6. Warranties, Disclaimers, and Indemnification

  1. Our perfumes are safe for normal, topical use as perfumes. They are not safe for ingestion. Do not put perfumes in eyes or anywhere other than your skin and clothes. Discount Fragrances SA only warranties its products for safe use in small amounts on one’s skin and not for any other purpose.
  2. You hereby agree to assume all risks in the use of Discount Fragrances SA products. You agree that Discount Fragrances SA will not be held liable for any allergic reactions, sensitivities, or damages related to uses of our perfumes other than normal perfume uses.
  3. You hereby agree that Discount Fragrances SA , its employees, representatives, and successors, shall not be liable under any circumstances for any damages arising under your use of its products, for any third party uses of the products, for any acts of negligence or recklessness by Discount Fragrances SA or others, for any breaches of this contract, or for the uses of the products provided by Discount Fragrances SA by any other parties.
  4. You hereby agree that Discount Fragrances SA, its employees, representatives, and successors, shall not be liable for any statements or representations of third-parties regarding its products.
  5. Title and risk of loss pass to you upon our transfer of products to the courier company. Delivery dates are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed.

7. Intellectual Property

  1. Use of the Discount Fragrances SA domain, website links, branding, logo or related materials, adverts and messaging without written permission is a violation of these Terms and Conditions and an infringement of Discount Fragrances SA intellectual property.
  2. Stock images on the Discount Fragrances SA website are in the public domain or purchased by Discount Fragrances SA for use on its website. If you see an image that is not in the public domain and has not been purchased, please notify Discount Fragrances SA via the website contact form and it will be taken down within 3 business days of notification. It may be replaced on the website after appropriate investigation of the complaint.

 8. Legal Considerations

  1. Force Majeure. Discount Fragrances SA will not be responsible to you nor deemed to have breached these Terms for any failure or delay in our performance under these Terms when such failure or delay is caused by acts or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
  2. Notices. For feedback, complaints, or requests, contact us through our contact form on our website. We believe to always assist where assistance is possibly needed
  3. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
  4. Arbitration. In the event of any disputes or claims arising out of or relating to your use of  the Discount Fragrances SA website or your purchase of our products, you agree to binding arbitration with our legal services. The prevailing party shall be entitled to reasonable costs and attorney’s fees.
  5. If any provision of these Terms is invalid, illegal, void, or unenforceable, that provision will be severed from these Terms without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions of these Terms.
  6. These Terms and Conditions and your Purchase Order (if accepted) will be deemed the final and integrated agreement between you and Discount Fragrances SA on the matters contained herein.

9. Product Sales and Availability

All products displayed are subject to availability and will be delivered within the Republic of South Africa.

We reserve the right to discontinue or change the specifications of our products and services from time to time without notice. And Prices. We will inform you as soon as possible if any products or services ordered by you are not available.

Discount Fragrances SA reserves the right to limit the quantity of any item offered for sale. Please note when buying our products for reselling purposes, what you do after that is not our responsibility. We supply in Bulk to customer’s that’s all. Please make sure if you are reselling at all times your customers knows what they are buying before they buy from you. We were in our rights when we sold it to you.
